Engagement
How we work with a hospital
Six steps, from a first conversation to a quarterly review. No coverage starts, and no patient is seen, until the hospital and Fieldstone Neuro have a written agreement.
- 01
Exploratory conversation
A chief executive, chief medical officer, or the person they name talks with Fieldstone Neuro about the gap: wards, EEG, stroke, transfers, or the emergency department. The call is about the program. It is not a case discussion, and it is not medical advice.
- 02
Twelve months of volume
The hospital shares aggregate volume for the last 12 months: neurology consults, transfers, and EEGs. Totals only. Not a patient list, not a chart, and not anything that belongs in a medical record.
- 03
One-page term sheet within a week
After that volume is in hand, Fieldstone Neuro sends a one-page term sheet within a week. It covers scope, the fee model, and whether the hospital wants to begin with a pilot. It does not quote a public price list. Fees are fixed, agreed in advance, set at fair market value, and not tied to referrals.
- 04
Credentialing by proxy and EMR access
Medical staff credentialing uses credentialing by proxy where the hospital allows it, and the hospital's own forms where it does not. The physicians who will cover that hospital are licensed in Texas. Fieldstone Neuro is given access to write notes and return EEG reports in the hospital's EMR.
- 05
Go live
A typical go-live is about 60 to 90 days. Coverage starts on the date in the agreement, after privileging and a technical check of the video and EMR path. Clinical response times are not published here.
- 06
Quarterly review
Once the program is running, Fieldstone Neuro and the hospital review it each quarter. The review is about how the service is operating. Performance scores are not posted on this website.
The commercial terms, in plain language
- The hospital keeps professional billing through a reassignment agreement.
- Fieldstone Neuro bills the hospital a fixed, pre-agreed fee. Amounts stay on the term sheet.
- Fees are set at fair market value and are never tied to referrals.
- Fieldstone Neuro carries its own malpractice coverage.
- The work is 100 percent remote.
- A pilot can come before a longer contract. The term sheet says which path the hospital is on.
Next step
Request a coverage assessment
The next step is a coverage assessment. Email info@fieldstoneneuro.com or use the form. No patient information.
